We’re Daniel and Tanya—both emergency room nurses, still working night shifts.

Goldendale Reindeer was built in between those shifts, slowly and intentionally.

What started as a search for quiet land in the Pacific Northwest turned into something much bigger—a working reindeer farm designed to feel different from everything else out there.

We moved to Goldendale looking for something different in 2020 in the height of the pandemic. We rebuilt a home, built fencing and barns, and welcomed our first reindeer in the spring of 2021.

Today, this is where we spend our time when we’re not in the ER—caring for the herd and sharing them with the people who come through our gates.
